The city campus of the University of Bradford is located within walking distance of the city centre of Bradford, which is in West Yorkshire in the UK. The main entrance to the city campus is located on Richmond Road, which is a side street from Great Horton Road.
Arriving by road
Best routes into Bradford are -
From the south, east or west of Bradford: M62 and M606
From the north west of Bradford: A629/ A650 via Shipton and Keighley
From the north east: A1 or A19, and reach Bradford via the A59 and then the A658 south of Harrogate

Please note that as a city centre campus traffic to the University can be busy at peak times. Street parking is available around the campus but can be in high demand. A NCP car park is located close to the University.
Arriving by train
There are two train stations in Bradford city centre, Bradford Interchange and Bradford Foster Square. Both stations are approximately a 15 - 20 minute walk on foot to the University. There is a taxi rank at each station, with a trip to the University costing about £4.
A direct service to one of the Bradford train stations is available from most of the main cities in Yorkshire. A direct service to and from London also runs several times a day. Other journeys may require a change at Leeds or occassionally Preston. A journey from Leeds takes approximately 20 minutes and trains run frequently throughout the day.

The closest airports to Bradford are Leeds-Bradford Airport
and Manchester Airport
Leeds-Bradford Airport is approximately 8 miles from the University and connected to Bradford by bus
and taxi
services. Bus services run every half hour through the day but are less frequent at off-peak times. Bus timetables can be accessed on the West Yorkshire travel
website by setting Leeds Bradford Airport as the departure point and Bradford Interchange Bus Station as the arrival point. There is no taxi rank at the airport, instead attendees are recommended to book a taxi in advance of their arrival using the above link.
Manchester Airport is approximately 40 miles from Bradford but as a large international airport has a wider range of facilities than Leeds-Bradford Airport. It has also has a rail station located in the airport that runs services directly to Leeds, from which local trains run frequently to Bradford city centre (see arriving by train above).
